I Survived Genocide. Now I'm Learning to Survive Peace.

I am Mohammed Aloosh, from Gaza. Through my book, I share a deeply personal story of survival, loss, resilience, and hope, so that the voices of those who can no longer speak are never forgotten.

Who I am

I am Mohammed, a writer from northern Gaza.

I survived two years of genocide. I lost more than 70 members of my family — including my sister, my uncle, my cousins, my friends. This book is my testimony: what I saw, what I lost, and what I am trying to build now, from Italy, one word at a time.

We Will Recover There is available in English, Italian, and Arabic.
